The story how Z. N. Morrell, pioneer
Baptist missionary, worked with Presbyterian #Calvinists and other faithful
Evangelical #Protestant ministers to establish a sound gospel witness in the 19th Century Texas

one mind, striving together for the faith of the gospel” (Philippians 1:27)

THE END
This is an interesting one, is it not? Brother Morrell has left this scene of time and gone to his reward. Perhaps just as well, because among the man's erstwhile admirers are those who would consider him to be a #Neo (i.e. a Neo Evangelical) and a #Compromiser if he were alive today. Truly, some seem to build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous. I do not know whether Morrell was a #Calvinist himself, hence the request for the Baptist Confession he signed up to, but he certainly worked with them and therein lies the issue.
