Short update

Temporary Hall erected in Beragh

Our 2 week gospel mission has got off to a good start on the Lord's Day 1st November, 2015 in the portable hall erected on the main street in Beragh in Co. Tyrone. Rev. Timothy Nelson preached powerfully and faithfully in the first meeting from Matthew 28:1-8 on the women seeking the Lord. I preached last night from Romans 5:12 on the subject of Sin. We intend to preach night about.

We covet your prayers for the faithful preaching of Christ and Him crucified. The immediate area is largely Roman Catholic with the non gospel preaching Anglican church claiming many of the Protestants. Our Free Presbyterian Church is located in the neighbouring village of Sixmilemilecross where I preached on the Lord's Day morning.

I ordered tracts from Kingston Bible Trust (.pdf) for the outreach next week for the Kilskeery FPC Mission which starts on November 2015 and, again, runs for two weeks. Again, there would be a large RC population with many nominal Protestants round the Kilskeery area. Our work, as they say, is cut out for us.
