 Another one of those somewhat ironic examples met with regularly - a great sulpher breathing giant of #IFB Fundamentalism who can hardly contain himself when dealing with Calvinism ("the stench of Hell") but who runs to a 5 point Calvinist when he needs to articulate a point of doctrine.

FTR: I am not a big fan of J.I  Packer. His ecumenical compromise with the Church of Rome is at great odds with the Protestant and Reformed faith that he can so ably articulate and defend in his books.
